Welcome to the 37th Senatorial District website. I sincerely appreciate the confidence you have placed in me by re-electing me to the Virginia State Senate. I pledge to represent your interests in Richmond and in our community. You can be assured that I will work energetically to earn your continuing respect and support.

I believe, however, that the office of a State Senator has responsibilities greater than just representing you in legislative deliberations in the State Senate. I will strive to:

  • keep you informed about the important issues that are facing Virginia and specifically the Northern Virginia region which has unique challenges as part of the Washington D.C. metroplex. I sincerely welcome your input and thoughts on these very issues.
  • assist you in your dealings with the State Government.
I will be frequently updating this website with the latest news and issues being discussed in Richmond. I will also be holding town meetings and other events in the district to give you the opportunity to meet with me personally.
